Le Braconnier 49
Anyone use kneepads,If so,is there a particular type or make, you would recommend ? I can tell you are getting old. Not only wanting knee pads, but posting the same question 10 times I take a gardener's kneeling pad with me. They are only a couple of quid. Quote Link to post

lamaha 7
Yep, ive an old camping kip mat cut into squares and tucked into the knee pockets of my work trousers. Saves alot of grumbling. 1 Quote Link to post
Dr mole 15
Yep, kneepads always worn. I have a cutout on my work trousers but prefer the external type with velcro straps. Any type will do for me. Can't see the need for anything expensive. I wear them primarily to save my trousers getting caked in mud. Plus it saves me kneeling in the snow/frost in the winter or on sharp stones or thorns etc. Not getting too old yet I don't think Quote Link to post
BORDERSCOT 3,816
I use these for molecatching and walling - Dry Stone Walling Association £11.00 they're good and would last for years if you were only using them for trapping...couple of years for walling tho... http://www.dswa.org.uk/Tools-g.asp Thanks Colin. BORDERSCOT 3,816
You boys that use knee pads can't be doing much walking in them......... Walk as far as I need to in them - from field to field...if walking a longer distance I'll just take them off, stick them in my bag and kick on...no problem... I'm sure your input into this thread was valued...I know I have learned a lot from it!!! Quote Link to post
