B.P.R 2,798
You want to chuck that spade unless you want another day at the beach Its handy for little outings like this.... obviously it cant compare to a decent spade.... but has its uses Quote Link to post
Huan72 687
BPR, I have to say that I like the box, were did you get it from? As for shovels, I love the fold ups in the right situation, right tool for the job and all that. I recently saw some in ASDA's and thought "here we go, its gonna be plastic". Opened the box and could not believe it.............in black but full on steel! To my eye they looked MOD equivelent and for the price.........£2.50, yes £2.50. I got two. May well fail epiclly but for the price, material and apparent construction, I just couldnt say no! Even the checkout operator commented "do you know something we dont...............then she scanned it and she couldnt believe it either! Quote Link to post
B.P.R 2,798
The box was from moxy on here mate. I like the foldable spade...it sits in my backpack for when its needed and hand on little trips like this. A bigger spade is better for the job though. But the wee one comes in handy. Rm2508 had a little, cheap spade. Bent in half the first time is seen dirt....a spoon would have been better Quote Link to post
Huan72 687
If its the same as RM2508's spade i'm in trouble, all flint and chalk around here...........i'll have to keep them for the next snow drift or start prepping and be on the T.V. I read from the earlier post that Moxy had a set back but once hes back in production, I'll be getting one for sure Thanks again Quote Link to post
