Huan72 687
It might be possible to use a webbing system that you could strap the box, bag and other stuff to, although for weight bearing it would be better on your back, as previously stated, having everything on one side could unbalance you and make movement awkward. You could also use pouches for other stuff, they do all sorts now, including pouches to hold collapsable shovels etc. Just a thought, it may be a good idea to go to a surplus store and look at the different systems to see if something could work for you. Ive been thinking about the same thing and am also thinking about working something around the frame of a metal framed backpack. I just like to keep the old mind busy! 1 Quote Link to post
Country Joe 1,411
Better keeping your ferret box as light as possible. better using a shoulder bag for your nets, then you can add more or take out, for your needs, your finder can go in your pocket. Have seen these boxes with compartments for nets finders etc, and they are to big and heavy for me. 1 Quote Link to post

GreyRake 108
If your looking at ebay be creful. I bought a double ferret box "Space for ferrets in one side and all your nets and locaters in the other" You mean, space for one hob in one side and 15 nets only in the other! B.P.R 2,798
Moxy can make you a box to your requirements. I got this one off him a good while back. Its got space for a hob either side and a compartment underneath for about 30 nets and a locator. Not the best pic...but cant find one on my ipad. 1 Quote Link to post
