robwelsh 354
U can't just expect first pellet u try to be accurate, and go buy some moly grease, take stock off an poke some grease through to the spring. Not a lot. Work it in with good amount of shots then add a touch more. Don't gunk it up with grease though. Mine shot smoother. Power increased by about 0.5ft lb though. The springs are dry from factory. Quote Link to post

massa 9
Oops! I forget to ask you matey which grease is recommended in my case any particular brand or type of grease I can use in my springa...cheers Quote Link to post
oxo 441
Got the same rifle here, mine is new and dieselled quite a bit at first, its settling down now and is very accurate and nice too shoot with superdomes, 11ftlb plus through the chrono. The trigger is very light though and its very hard to cock for a 12ftlb springer, lovely build quality and looks, prefer it to the HW95 and TX200HC i had. Quote Link to post
milegajo 595
Did your friend take it apart massa? Quote Link to post
massa 9
yes milegajo I bought this Diana from a lovely gentleman and my mate took it to change the spring and grease it something like service!!! and he told me that he didn't change the piston after few shoots it was alright shoot like a dream but recently the Diana start to make a loud twing noise !!! I don't want to take it back to him again I will buy spring grease and apply it and see how it will go...but honestly I didn't see any improvement after he take it a part... ..... I should not give to him from the first place... Quote Link to post
robwelsh 354
Bisley moly grease I used. If it been fooked about with , strip it, degrease it all, polish an replace worn parts, check power. Result lol Quote Link to post
Mawders 595
Don't expect the power to creep up past the 10ft/lb range unless its been properly fettled with. The parts they use inside the Diana limit its power significantly. I heard the older ones were good for near the legal limit but newer ones struggle on the power front. Quote Link to post
robwelsh 354
Mine down 11.5 on song Quote Link to post

milegajo 595
Massa where did you buy it from? Me! If you were closer massa I'd have a look, but I'd recommend getting the original spring. That's the only thing I can think of really. She was razor accurate before. Quote Link to post
