find some one close to you to take you out get loads of books from the library,then save for your mews scales bow perch glove freezer and all the other stuff you will need to start off before even thinking of getting your first bird its not cheap,and then theres getting the land to hunt on its a big commitment good luck mate

Good advice.

If you can find a mentor who hunts regularly and get out with him as often as you can over a season or two, as well as watching his preparation, it may convince you that the required attention to detail, weight control, feeding methods, hygiene......and just getting game in front of your hawk, is more work than you could manage to fit in your busy schedule......or not,......in which case you'll embark upon a journey which can be very fulfilling in direct proportion to the effort you put in.
