Simple question,
Which would you recommend is the best target shooting out of the following:
HW35, HW99S, Hatsan 125 or SMK SYNSG?

You do get some gems and surprises, there are some well priced and underrated rifles out there. But not to my knowledge in that list.

They already are in RRP order, here are the prices: HW35-£214, HW99S-£195, Hatsan 125-£184.95, SMK SYNSG-£120 but thanks for the reply and tip

From your list though, 35 if weight's not an issue or 99 if it is. Forget the others.

in my youth I had a hw 35 .I did not like the mechanism that locked the barrel shut .I had to work with the mechanisum a bit to improve accuracy .A hw 35 would not be on my short list ,but all the guns on your list would not be on my list .I would think the hw 99 would be the best gun.to chews .the only gun on your list I have used is the hw 35.

One to chuck into your list. Have a look at the Hatsan 55 and 60 (55 if you like .177 and 60 if you like .22). Basically they are the same gun as the Webley Stingray mark 2, apart from the fact the Hatsan has the better safety catch! They are available from around the £100 mark, if you shop around you could also find the gas ram variant for around the £170 mark.

The 55s is one I can recommend from experience. A straight forward strip down and lube would smooth her out nicely for targets. A lot of gun for the money wirh startlingly good accuracy.

 

Not experienced a 125 so no idea on that.

im saying hw99s. ive had 2 of them and they were both really nice rifles. put a small scope like a 3-9x40 or a good quality 4x32 and you wont go far wrong

the hw99s all day. a great little gun. especially now its had a makeover. you will not find a better break barrel for the price.
