Pre-Ban Hares Around North/south Ockendon

Back in the 90's, i did a bit of hare coursing behind south ockendon greyhound kennels in essex. Their was a good population back then, good big land. I dont live near their anymore. For those who may still shoot and retrieve them now with dogs round their, how is it now, the hare population? Is it still worth going their, have not been their since.

Is their many about and do you still get a run after the shot?

I heard its undergone a climate change,ie become significantly hotter.

I see, thanks. is their still a few hares Knocking about their, as a place not far from me now, the farmer, had them all shot! Anyone on here coursed it pre-ban?

I wouldn't know ,it;s quite a few years since I was that way, used to get around there, and also Ongar.

I wouldn't know ,it;s quite a few years since I was that way, used to get around there, and also Ongar.
