Ive been pretty lucky really my first wife hated me so she didnt mind me being out all the time, she liked her shoes as well as others wives too. Now LJ is a super woman and likes to get involved in my hobbies and is very supportive of what I do and buy. She actually bought me a new Springer that arrived last week herself. She likes her shoes and makeup too but works hard so deserves them things too, so I dont mind either. I wouldn't be without her ever.

Vicki is normally ok about anything to do with my hobby, i call it a past time, but on this one thing she moaned and i dont understand why. you have met her si, she's a good woman, a keeper, thats why we have been married 30 yrs. we may never understand em.

But she puts up with me so i am grateful. I think she might be starting to go through that time they call "the change", and for that i might need help from the gods lol.

Now your laura, as i said to you before, is also a keeper,a lovely woman, and a kind heart, She has just bought you an air rifle si ! wow, a keeper like i said. Vicki bought me that HW90 21 yrs ago, so like i said i can't complain, no right to complain realy, just having a laugh on here, but she did moan about the gloves ! !

Very lucky man in my eye's.I just brought a twink and a range finder and a new bi-pod.I told my wife and WOW she said that's fine. Then she ask how much it all cost and i said £195 then she went mad.So i done a bit of creeping and said i have a nice suprise for you when im home from work .What the fxxk can i do for her now?.I dropped my self in it .i will have to book a nice meal out in a posh holtel to make her understand that i love her as much as shooting. If that don't work im in the dog house. We do get along. But as soon as i say gun,air rifle, hunting or anything to do with shooting she like a women processed.I will see how it goes and report back wish me luck.It will cost me more then a a new rifle by the time she finished with me

You had better start phoning round and book that table mate, you can't leave a promise like that hanging in the air. " she's like a woman processed " not far off the truth there, i know it was a slip of the typing, but its funny. Good luck.

Thanks Phil.

Yes she bought me a HW35 second hand from a bloke on the Gun Trader.

I was going to get it scoped up but after Davy and Mawders saw it we decided to leave it as a open sighted rat and feral rifle.

I tried it on my last garden and it was bang on at about 15 yards with the open sights so it may be a good ratter.

thats the best way keep it a secret. im after a hw100 like a pleb i left the laptop open so now she knows how much they are. she also clocked how much the ones i already have are. This was after id just told her she didnt need another handbag she has loads. she does the same though, oh is that new? no its been in the wardrobe ages like i was born yesterday. she doesnt moan about me going fishing or shooting though.

Ahh the 35, That was my first HW many years ago. manufacturers have been trying to keep up ever since, it set the bench mark for triggers, accuracy, and was just a downright solid rifle, the first of its caliber. wish i had kept mine, dont you make the same mistake. Put a scope on it, its capable of so much more than just an open sighted ratter !
