fatasafool 216
Can't see them being 4 month old mate Quote Link to post
bigbailey 90
Ive bred ferrets for years mate so i know they are young, the picture makes them look bigger! They were still in with the mother when I picked them up, born back end of last year, late litter the women said. If i put a picrure up comparing the hob i rescued to which is the father you would see how young they are Quote Link to post
fatasafool 216
I'll take ir word for it mate I've been around ferrets all my days never known kits to be born in November that's all 4 Quote Link to post
bigbailey 90
Depends if they get caught towards the end of the season. as you would already know they stay in season until either bred with or other methods hormone injection etc or naturally towards winter. with the climate changing I've had jills stay in until november, depends if you have an entire male close by. Anyway if your not interested then it doesnt matter! Dont mind educating i suppose Quote Link to post
The one 8,479
Hob kits are bad news you usually get left with them long after the jill kits are gone , if you have the space running them on till the start of the ferreting season might help ?. Quote Link to post
bigbailey 90
Yeah thats the problem mate! Some people only keep hobs! Had plenty of interest but lots of time wasters Quote Link to post

bigbailey 90
Thanks mate I've managed to spend the time to handle them as they were biters, I've turned them around from what they were. They had no sunlight when I picked them up. Fed them up, my freezers certainly taken a bashing, was full of rabbits a man few week ago :-) Quote Link to post
