KittleRox 2,147
better off with a rabbit skin dummy and don,t overdo the training, little and often, as soon as you see the dog losing interest stop and leave it for another day 2 Quote Link to post

The training should have commenced far earlier, find something the dog likes to chase and bring back, then repetition. 1 Quote Link to post

Sneak up behind a rabbit, shout BOO at the top of your voice, the rabbit will jump out of its skin, quickly grab it before the startled bunny and your ready to go. 2 Quote Link to post
Fretwell 59 15
I start by hetting the dog play with what i am going to use and playing a bit of a tug of war so he wont let go of it then whn he wonts throw it for him and get the dog to start the retrieve back to me then I turn around and walk away and he should run back to because he thinks your going to leave him and whn u have got that bit bomb proof I start with getting him to delive to hand but like its been said it should be a game for him or he won't do it and lose interest Quote Link to post

If its losing interest you've over done it and its not a game any more. 3 Quote Link to post
