Miikee-L 72
Hi there! After watching a number of videos and reading as many reviews about the BSA Scorpion SE i could find i went to my local gun shop and tried one out, fair to say i loved it! i just wanted to know if anyone with any experience with this rifle could tell me if it is reliable, i.e. common faults or problems people have had? any advice would be greatly appreciated! villaman 9,983
I have all so been told from a airgun tuner they are the best none regged gun in the BSA range Quote Link to post
reecemurg 21
I have just got one ,, and from the few shots i have had i am already in love with it ,, its a beautiful gun Quote Link to post
gasman1 15
the best pcp that bsa do. the single shot model is accurate as hell. they should do the single shot in the se stock as well. it makes an excellent hft gun. a couple of lads at the club had one, then got rid of them for different guns. then realised the mistake they'd made and ended up getting another. funnily enough i had a go with one of the lads today. it shot great. i think the walnut se model is stunning to look at. Miikee-L 72
Thank for the replies guys! yes i would love to see it in walnut but cant really find any decent pictures of a walnut stock! but defiantly considering it! and yes i have read about the self regulating valve & if i remember correctly Si Pittaway said on his youtube video he was going to get a fully regulating valve in but thought the self regulating valve was good enough as it was! Anyway ill be picking my scorpion up at the end of the month, ill be sure to post pictures! Mike 1 Quote Link to post
Miikee-L 72
Sorry lads if anyone has the chance could somebody upload a picture or 2 of a BSA Scorpion SE in a walnut stock please? Mike Quote Link to post
robwelsh 354
Iv had one now , just before Christmas. The only thing il say is even if a certain pellet may be accurate in it, the mag might not like them . Found jsb an aa field to be 5p groups an under to 35 yrds. Can't find anything else to gripe about it. Although I would like a tune up. Just because I can. Lol Quote Link to post
robwelsh 354
Bought mine for the nipper, so he likes the tac stock, I too would of bought it in walnut if it was for me.. Quote Link to post
Miikee-L 72
I have only ever head good things about the BSA 10 shot mag but i will defiantly be aware! But still thank you for the replies! when i pick it up i will get pictures up of the rifle as soon as i can! Mike Quote Link to post
jw74 27
ive got the scorpion t10 and its a really good rifle,me and my boy managed to double load it but that was our fault.i told him to be gentle with it and i think he didnt quite pull the bolt back far enough.other than that i cant really fault it.ive got an s400 which i rate very very highly esp for accuracy and ive got to say the scorpion is up there with it.let us know how you get on with it atb Quote Link to post
Miikee-L 72
Thank you for the infomation jw74! yes i was debating on the Air Arms s400 & s410 & the BSA Scorpion, but from what I've heard and seen the scorpion is more than accurate for me & it looks beautiful and handles just as nice! just my personal thoughts but will defiantly let you know by the end of the month! jw74 27
i would say they are both more accurate than im ever going to be,but the bsa is very light and handleable(i think thats a word) where as the s400 is a lot heavier and longer.from what ive been told by my rfd the new magazines are bang on. so if its the scorpion that feels good to you im sure thatll do you very well indeed, cheers jason Quote Link to post
