No offence to you mate but i would spit in the eye of someone who asked me to go over a poles work, They wanted them doing the job, so they can put up with the results.   Still i suppose it's eas

Brickys here around £1 a block...not sure about facing brick...been a few years since i done any site work!

you were getting a £1 a block when all the showcase cinemas were getting built that was in the mid ninetys i think dont think they will be getting that now boy says £8 pound a meter how many blocks in a meter :hmm:

i'v just become a bricky over night :laugh:

blame the TWATS at ucatt for sticking up for the easter european influx and the the past govements for staying in the eu are constrution industrie will go down the hill and be a free for all THANK YOU POLISH TONY :bad:

fr--ked our trade up working on multi storys rendering the outside 50 workers and im the only scotch renderer on the job im paired up with a guy fae yorkshire the rest are poles and romainions they are getting 50% of the cash im getting per meter and were having to go over there work its not real making good money but they are dirty b---ds

easy money mate £5 for top coat 30 meters in a panel i hour a panel for two of us 6 panels a day no to be sniffed at

What the fcuk are ye on aboot davy??? A never fcukin saod i was gettin a quid a block. Read the post...a got a price of roughly a quid a block to build ma wall at the front of ma hoose!!!

 

Are ye gonny keep havin digs at me on a fcukin internet forum like a ten yr old school lassie or are ye gonny chap the door and we'll talk about it like men???If yir no then fcukin jog on!!!

10 blocks in a meter most brickies i know are getting about £1 to £1.20 a 4" concrete block

So the price i got for 1 quid a block is goin rate?

yes 1quid a block is going rate for 4"block work you wont get much cheaper unless you get a pole to do it lol

we dont get any extras nothing for lintels dpc etc,the subby started taking 3% of me and my mate for citb training he only did it once that wasnt happening lol .

if you dont get any extra for lintels dpc etc you must be getting paid for measuring through the windows and stuff
