just wandering what the rates are like elsewhere, im in devon and were getting 300 per thou on brickwork and 8 quid a metre on block and most subbys down here are paying the same rates,cheers

Are those prices all in? no extras for lintels damp trestling etc?

FFS. Is that all they are paying now?

 

The last job I was on I was getting £320 on facings, £4 per square metre on blocks, 50p a sheet for Jab, £3 a lintel, 50p per metre for dpc and 10p per weep hole and wall tie crampon and that was back in 1988. Glad I got out of it.

Im not a bricky mate. Only going by a price i got to build a wall at the front of my house last week. Its been a few years since ive done the roofs and roughcasting on the sites and knew the prices then through takin to the brickys!!!

 

So whats the goin rate for 6" block on flat?

Im not a bricky mate. Only going by a price i got to build a wall at the front of my house last week. Its been a few years since ive done the roofs and roughcasting on the sites and knew the prices then through takin to the brickys!!!

 

So whats the goin rate for 6" block on flat?

i dont know mate im a window cleaner

you were getting a £1 a block when all the showcase cinemas were getting built that was in the mid ninetys i think dont think they will be getting that now boy says £8 pound a meter how many blocks in a meter :hmm:
