fox assasin 16
Well lads , i am getting a 12 v 18 ah lawnmower battery . I have no charger for the lawnmower battrey , but i do have a 12 v battery charger from my old clulite battery. I was wondering can you use the clulite 12v charger for the lawnmower battery ? I was thinking , the way you snip off the jackplug on the original cord on the lamp and then u peel it apart then tie it onto the lawnmower battery , can you do the same thing with the charger and it will charge ? Cheers lads atb Quote Link to post
Paid 935
If the battery is 12v and its a 12v charger, crack on. Quote Link to post
coverdogs 888
be carefull lad be sure to put the + wire and the - to the correct terminals, dont think the clulite charger has the wires marked and the charger is a trickle charger so you will need to charge the battery for a lot longer. keep an eye in lidl or aldi they do a great wee charger for cars and motorbikes at about 15euro it trips out when the battery is fully charged. atb coverdogs Quote Link to post

Pesky rabbits 0
Hi mate, why don't you try a motorcycle batt charger? I have 2 for my bikes and there connected all the time when the bikes are not in use, they have a batt condition check on them which will tell you if a cell is faulty and they are good for any 12v batt wet or gel ect up to 30amph I use mine to test my power packs twice a year.
