just keep bathing it with salt water, i wouldnt bother with savlon as the dog will probably just lick it off anyway. being where it is, it will take a while to heal but heal it will, just keep it clean and the dog on lead exercise for a week or two and be mindfull of infection

Don't put powder on the cuts: will dry them up too fast. As long as they are just superficial skin tears let the dog lick them and keep them moist: dog saliva contains enzymes which kill bacteria. As for the puncture wound: make sure it doesn't get infected. Without very good photos of the wounds it is a bit hit and miss trying to give advice over the internet: if you are in any doubt don't take chances with your dog's health: see a vet.

if it is just skin wounds then keep clean and they will heal, as has been said. if the tears have gone into the muscle i should get it looked at by a vet. the puncture would concern me, you may be able to get a small syringe in and flush it when you clean the tears but if you are in any doubt get a vet involved. they may be crap on some running dog related issues but basic stitching and wound management is something the majority of vets can handle pretty well. even if its just getting a prescription for antibiotics if required

Sounds like surgical emphysema and likely infection, as I said its likely with a wound in that position. Antibiotics and wound closure if possible would be the best in most cases with early intervention likely to have avoided it in the first place. Hopefully the bill hasn't grown to much.
