Swampy 147
Usual sabre rattling BS rhetoric fron NK. Threats that are predictable in their content as they are in their timing. Just before a UN vote on sanctions, just after a new SK prime minister/president is elected and just when naval exercises have been steeped up by the US, SK and Japan. Although the naval "exercises" have been continual since about 2007. Won't happen. China will literally turn the oil tap off and NK grinds to a halt. As soon as the embargo of luxury cars, yachts and televisions starts biting and the leaders of NK can't get their fix of X Factor they'll relent. More sensationalism from the tabloids. And yet the chattering masses still bite. There really is no hope for us! Swampy Commy ning

foxfan 479
Perhaps they are just voicing their displeasure at US foriegn policy and in all fairness who can blame them them ? Imperialism is alive and well in this foul year of our lord 2013.
The Seeker 3,048
Their nuclear weapons are only of use locally, their ICBM missiles are unreliable, for that matter who knows if their nuclear devices are reliable? The real threat is the amount of other missiles and artillery targeted at the capital of South Korea, which is well within their range. I find their empty threats tiresome. Don't they have something like 1,000,000 ground troops too? I'd be inclined to take anything they say with a pinch of salt, although the crazy dog munching b*****ds seem to inhabit a different reality from the rest of the world so I'd never say never.. Bloody hell 1 million ground troops, I can see it now as they march towards South Korea with their wooden stocked ex WW2 bolt action rifles, the US Apache helicopters machine guns and cannons will be glowing white hot and you won't hear a sound for all the Hellfire missiles taking out 100's at a time

JohnGalway 1,043
I read something lately that NK has dug quite a number of tunnels into SK, some I think you could drive a tank through. The SK side have found some of them.

JohnGalway 1,043
then dare nk to attack n see what happens when the us are backed into a corner it would dissappear like atlantis Look at a map. NK shares a border with SK (obviously), China, and Russia, plus it's only across the sea from Japan. Now, which of those four would be receptive of a nuclear weapon being detonated in NK? None would be my thinking.
