wullieh 53
Just wondering what your opinion is, do you think dogs do better and live a longer healthy life in the house or kennels? Quote Link to post
LaraCroft 863
I don't think it makes any difference - if they are well fed, kept warm and exercised well, then a house and a kennel make no odds. If your kennels are damp, draughty and cold, then yeah, the dogs won't do as well 1 Quote Link to post
wullieh 53
my own dogs are mainly outside but allow them in at night and even let them stay in over night when the temp is to be below -5 even though they got heating in there kennel, always look that bit more happy to be in the house on a cold night. not had any illness other than one getting the cold. both are only 2yr old. Say mainly in the kennel but when at home they et run off the garden first thing I do when home is to let them out. Quote Link to post
hubbs 178
I do both if they've had a good workout I let them sleep in the kitchen ! But last night I let my bitch sleep in the house because she done very well and she whined to get to the other dogs in the kennel Quote Link to post
Carraghs Gem 1,675
I think most do better outside unfortunately with dog theives about its not always a viable option. My fella sleeps in a crate in the house and goes most places with me. 2 Quote Link to post
