BORDERSCOT 3,816
He was a decent fox dog - on the lamp and through the day - a little fractious with terriers tho and he got worse as he got older...killed his last fox at 10 years old - and was dead within weeks after developing a tumour!!!! He came from Hancock in the mid 80s - got him as an 8 week old pup - he was by Taffy and he turned into a cracking all rounder...foxes were his game though...he was always more than up for it...and so was I... Glad I had him when I did - I was young, carefree and mad then and never missed a chance at adventure...he wouldn't be half the dog he was if I had him now tho...the knees ache, the bones grumble and I have long since set both ends of the candle alight...the pace has slowed...but even just for one night I'd like to do it all again...I'd sleep and dream in the morning... 5 Quote Link to post
