As far as the under rated stuff - they are worked, enjoyed and not hyped out of all existence - and the genes passed to friends and people who will appreciate them for that they are.

where i am am from,and the circle of folk i hunt with...the breeding of a dog is very rarely mentioned......worker x worker all the way ....and usually the best dogs about are not really heard of,cause these folk keep themselves to themselves,and their breeding to themselves .....the over rated ones,are the people who are trying to over compensate...cos their dogs are shit ....atb...

Whippet/greyhounds I think are probably the most underrated type these days, but used to be pretty common, very good dogs. Wouldn't give you tuppence for a bull x or a saluki x
