shell 42
Thought I'd update you on the lurcher pups and how they are getting on. These are the 3 survivors of the litter, the rest died from suspected Canine Herpes Virus. Firstly, our pup, Reeba. Now 20 weeks old. Her basic training is coming on well. She sits on command, will fetch, drop close to us and at a distance, and kind of knows 'wait'. Her recall is pretty good too. Smashing temperement, a pleasure to own. But she is a thief. You can certainly tell she's her mothers daughter! Already stands at 22 inch to the shoulder. Her eyes are still pale blue, although one half of one eye has turned dark now. And this is Ruby when she was 15 weeks old. The lad that has her is chuffed to bits with her. Spoke to him the other night and he said her training is coming on well, and he's never known a dog as biddable as her. The other survivor was a male pup. A friend of ours has him, but we haven't seen him for a few weeks so I haven't got a picture to show you. He's chuffed with him. Says he's a very loyal and willing dog. We're hoping to see him this week so I'll take my camera and get a pic or two. Shell Quote Link to post

stevemac 442
G'Day Shell could give us some idea of what symtoms these pups prestented and at what age they died. A mate of mine lost a litter and this was given as a posible reason for their demise. Nice pups by the way must be real little fighters all the best with them in the future.
