Will333 1
Hi, I've got a jackdaw problem at the moment and so I was wondering... When you are shooting at large angles, eg into trees, should you be holding over or under? Thanks Quote Link to post
ghillies 209
it goes above the cross hair, but the higher the angle the more it does then it may come down a bit at the extremes untill your barrels at a true verticle where its actualy low as in off the bottom of the scope more or less. get a copy of http://www.hawkeoptics.com/chairgun.html have a play it will show you what happens when you change the angle of inclanasion. (or better still find a dead tree thats coming down and trim the twigs with your gun. but beware of your backdrop). Quote Link to post

Spoken from true experience of both branches and blasted pigeons, 15 ounce of falling pigeon hurts from 50 foot up!! Edited March 6, 2013 by secretagentmole 1 Quote Link to post

The one 8,463
When using a shotgun you should aim at there feet so with that saying you should be aiming a tad low but it depends on the range Quote Link to post
Craig Fosse 286
And the incline angle... For example I'm a mill dot hold over at 20 yards above 45 degrees and half a milldot above the vertical when shooting up at 20 yards Quote Link to post
TimS 49
Similar for me. Reduce holdover by 1/2 mil at 30 degrees and 1 mil at 50degrees. By 60 degrees I need to reduce by 1.5 mil. Check it with Chairgun or iStrelok to be sure. Quote Link to post
