Humans are animals are we not ,so your logic doesn't apply to all animals just ferrets ? .

Or is your wife no a good worker ?.

Hes not really 'bringing your missus into it'....

Hes just making a comparison

If you stuck by your view of... breedings natural so let it happen.....

Youd have a kid every year or so....

Like most dirty, smelly muslims do.

And with animals....its your choice...they do as you wish....

So every bitch would have a litter of pups yearly...

Every ferret would have a litter or 2 a year...

IMAGINE THE AMOUNT OF ANIMALS ABOUT WANTING HOMES, RESCUE CENTRES WOULD BE OVERFLOWING, CRAP STOCK WOULD BE PLENTY.

My bitch is in season now....im smart ...she wont be bred.....not now...or ever.

When i want a pup ill leave the hassle to somebody else...and reap the rewards.

Use your head before going down the same route most fannies slip down.

Im not saying your one of them.....but they all start thinking just like you do.

As blue said im trying to judge the logic of your post ,You dont have to breed from your jill we have moved on we have various methods to bring them out of season without breeding them .

And humans are animals we are just nearer the top of the food chain than ferrets

The two reasons why I'm thinking of breeding her is its natural for animals to breed, in my own opinion she should be allowed to experience as much natural behaviour as possible and two she is a great little worker.

Cant say I agree with your logic there.. Ferrets are not wild animals, they are a domesticated species and it is your duty as a keeper of domesticated animals to manage them as such and consider their needs and the needs of any offspring they might have.. If you want to breed a litter it should be because you have a valid reason to do so, eg, increasing your own stock, continuing and maintaining a line of breeding or if there is a demand for kits that you can satisfy with any excess stock.. Many, many ferrets bred each year end up in rescue centres as a result of inconsiderate breeding and your reason for letting them breed 'because its natural' is not a valid one in my mind, nor I suspect in the minds of many of the members of this forum.. Don't be surprised if you receive a few sharp comments, most members on here care for the general welfare of the working ferret and are extremely robust in its defence..
