IanB 0
Just noticed Lightforce are bringing out a new Pred9x lamp for 2013 a gun mounted LED contained unit, looks nice and compact.. Sure they will be available over here soon enough. If they offer any advantage over other units, well thats another thing.. Quote Link to post
JohnGalway 1,043
Lightforce are behind the curve. First ever firearm mounted light? What planet are they living on? I've a torch on mine that will let me kill a fox at 200 yards and one on order which will go an awful lot farther. Shims to angle the light sound like a pain in the arse. An elastic band and an €8 figure of 8 mount does mine. It looks to be a weak light, probably OK for rabbiting but I wouldn't look at it for foxing. I wonder what price will they be? The remote switch is a positive. Quote Link to post
IanB 0
Yes probably not as good as some of the compact lamps and lights already available John, I'm sure we will find out soon.. Quote Link to post
JohnGalway 1,043
Have you heard anything on price Ian? Quote Link to post
IanB 0
No John, I actually just spotted it browsing something on the net, as a guess I'd say circa £200 I reckon. Quote Link to post
halamrose 24
How can they make a lamp seem so dull? Quote Link to post
JohnGalway 1,043
No John, I actually just spotted it browsing something on the net, as a guess I'd say circa £200 I reckon. I got a Fandyfire STL-V6 off deal extreme for $46 delivered. Mind you I had to buy two 18650 batteries and a charger to run it, but they're not overly dear. An €8 figure of 8 clamp and away ya go. It wouldn't have the filters, remote, or dimmer, but could still shoot a fox 180+ yards. I hope their internal wiring is better than their previous external efforts Edited March 8, 2013 by JohnGalway Quote Link to post
