Breeding Suggestion??

I don't think the man is a potential, intentional peddler as such or trying to wind anyone up for that matter. . More like a little green and naive, we've all been there at some point or other with something! Lets give the benefit of doubt and all.

Wouldn't mind seeing a pic of the dog ? Similar breed to mine.

Wouldn't mind seeing a pic of the dog either, seen some very good ones bred this way over the years, but not many in the last 20-25 years. And that's mainly because the bullx's started to get popular with certain people who wanted immage makers, and thought this x would be 'SMASHING' stuff early!
Mmm good point shaaark, I own a Deer/Grey x Whippet/Grey, I'm a little bit surprised there isn't more of them about. . Saying that, yet to own and run a saluki x . . But that'll change next season! Bull x's are not my thing, a bit is fine, but not too much. .

Deer/grey x whip/grey is a very good type, and one that we might put our bitch to in a couple of years. That or the same type as her. She's collie/grey x deer/grey and coming on very well. Don't want any saluki, bull or bedlington blood going into her. Don't like salukis, don't see the point in bull x's and don't like the majority of bedlington bred types of coat. Feck me, how negative does that sound!? Lol. No offence meant to people that keep those types, just not for me. :victory:

I dont understand the mentality some people have that makes everyone so fascinated with breeding.. How can you get a dog like this and not think 'what can i catch with it?' rather then 'what shall I b

Nothing wrong with knowing what you want, or don't want for that matter! Haha. . Well mine is on his second season now, doing the job nicely, another couple of years to prove himself, you'd be welcome to use him.
