There is neither profit , nor pleasure for me in getting involved in a public tit for tat with you .So I'll make this as clear as I can

You say you are no kid, well your posts indicate that you are, and the lad in the photo is a kid,[well at least to me].

I'll state my position once and for all.

I never crabbed your dog,I asked you why you were slipping it in inches of snow.

You did not reply.

Then you put up another photo of your dog coursing in snow.

You also put a post up saying you run all the year round.

Those on the thread made comments about running in snow and not observing the traditional season for coursing ,ie stopping in March to give hares a chance to breed , not to kill leverets.or spoil next years sport.

I said ",its a matter of individual conscience".

As to your challenge.

IF I had dogs to run hares,and IF I was into matching, I would do it this way.

 

ON PERMISSION,WITH A GUN ON MY SHOULDER,BETWEEN THE MONTHS OF OCTOBER AND MARCH.GIVING THE QUARRY FAIR SLIPS.I WOULD ALSO BE WITH LIKE MINDED INDIVIDUALS, WHOM I RESPECTED ,AND WHOSE COMPANY I LIKED.INDIVIDUALS WITH WHOM I HAD SPOKEN WITH PRIVATELY TO ARRANGE THE MATCH.

YOU DO NOT TICK THESE BOXES FOR ME.

AS I SAID. RUNNING HARES IN SNOW AND SUMMER IS UP TO THE INDIVIDUAL.

 

I believe I would be showing respect to the quarry IF i was to run it, by doing so in the traditional season ,not in snow, and giving the animal a fair slip.

I think I would also be respecting myself by doing that.

Up to the individual, but I must be honest those that run in snow and summer do not have my respect, no doubt they couldn't care less

hes got a fair point there pp about the snow and summer and u have to give credit to him noing that there poeple on here that want to stop this sport seems to have hes head screwd on i no your dog and hes 1st class but i dont think we dun right thing in geting in to a slaging match its about a stud dog and yours is as good as it gets as for the crabbers big talk from little men sat in there armchairs that dont go out on the feilds
