Hushpower

Due to certain restraints on where I can shoot I have decided a Hushpower would work for me.

But, before i rush in let me know what You've tried or experienced.

which is best out of the pedreti, baikal and mossburg?

Please tell me honestly what guage and gun you've tried.

Ive got baikel .410 hush. Likewise wouldnt change it for the world, shot almost everything with it. Top Gun!

this will be my first Shotty so if I ask any stupid questions go easy.

I have found a mates dad who has a 12 bore Mossburg hushpower I can go and look at.Is the 12 bore bigger than the 4.10 :wacko:

I've got time to ask these questions as I havent sent off my forms yet.

i have a pedreti 4.10 and i wouldnt be without it .the cartridges i use are fourlong 2/12 inch which are very quiet and clean burning..i have shot just about everything with the gun and would recomend a hushpower pedreti to anyone who wants a nice quiet little gun.

cant comment on the 12g husher apart from its like a drain pipe but I've got a .410 pedreti and its an absolute killer and a lot shorter than the Baikal version. Ive taken pigeons, rabbits, hare's out to 30 paces and even a fox (@ 3 foot) with it. Its an total gem that i would never be without. The 3"subsonics are not much quieter than the standard 3"carts unless your listening from 30 yards away then they come into there own, but it you use eley fourlongs they are whisper quiet and good for 25 paces anyway and not to mention cheaper .

Got a 12bore pedretti off pegandgun awhile back, hes still got his .410 hushpower...the single barrels are supposedly quieter than the pump actions, can't vouch for it though...

i have shot a single and cannot remember how quiet it was , but the full length moderator will probably make a slight difference

Just sold my baikal 410 to a mate , got a pedretti 20bore now brilliant guns the both of them . 20 bore has a bit more clout and cheaper on the carts , but a bit louder than 410 which was like a mouse fart !
