Lelandsdad1 4
Hi everybody I've just picked up my first rifle a BSA Ulta Multi Shot. 177. XTX Air Regulated and I've been looking at video reviews on the pellets people are using. I've just seen Si's latest video where he uses AA field pellets in his ultra se. So what I'm after from you guys is a recommended pellet for my ultra and the best place online to buy pellets from. Thanks for your time James Edited March 3, 2013 by Lelandsdad1 Quote Link to post
Craig Fosse 286
Sundown models or uttings, aa field first mate as they are too good of a pellet, good luck with the ultra, amazing rifle. Sundown model centre pack the pellets very very well, be careful tho, aa fields are a soft pellet so if I was you don't carry them around with u in the tin or anything. You will see what I mean when u get them Quote Link to post

TimS 49
Lovely first rifle. My first PCP was a BSA Scorpion. Cracking gun and very accurate. For pellets, mine preferred AA Field Diablo's, but try a few and see how you get on. AA Fields and JSB Exacts seem to be the best IMO and before anyone tells you they are they same - they are not. Similar, but not the same. For AA's and JSB 4.52's I can recommend Uttings. Service is superb. For JSB 4.53's you'll need to go to Intershoot. Have fun! Tim Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
Ive used BAR many times and JS Ramsbottom which are both good for pellets. Ive used Exacts and AA in Ultras to good effects mate. Si. Quote Link to post

secretagentmole 1,701
I used Crosman Premier Ultra Magnums in my (very short lived ownership) of a BSA Ultra (I hated MMC). It was zeroed in and I had made the first kill in 20 minutes, I just hated the cocking action! Quote Link to post
villaman 9,983
Hi In my .177 ultra m/s regged i use Daystate heavies 10.3gr or H&N baracuda hunter extreme 9.26gr Daystate heavies at 55+ yards go about 30mm higher than AA fields 1 Quote Link to post
gasman1 15
uttings, city air weapons at lincoln do some ok deals on pellets. i get most of my pellets from a chap at the club. when we're all ready for some pellets we ordermultiple sleaves at a time. you save quite a lot of dollar when you buy them in bulk. have any of you tried the new batches of air arms fields yet? as everyone will already know jsb make them. they have supposed to have got their own dies specially for the air arms pellets. ive heard good reports about them and have got half a sleave to try in my hw100 and mpr. ive had them a while now, but still havent tried them cos a mainly use my springer and very rarely use my pcp's. i use jsb expresses (blues) in my springer and they're bang on. i suppose i could try the new air arms in my springer, but it already shoots bang on with the blues. 1 Quote Link to post
Lelandsdad1 4
They do a sample packs on eBay but to get half a dozen packs it works out a lot to pay out. And I have seen the pellet swap page on here which is a great thing but I don't have any pellets :-( Quote Link to post
