Ipswhip 17
I done a search but always ends up with diffrent breads in the thread etc. could we have this thread for just us lads who keep real dogs. To show pictures Cheers Im a massive fan of the Collie bred lurcher,as long as it does,nt come from the Midlands, but to say they are the only "real dog",possibly will get the response you set out for,Muppet. Out of interest why do you say to avoid getting one from the midlands? Cheers Quote Link to post

Can't understand why we don't see more beardie mixed in with border collie lurchers........anybody know why? Quote Link to post

By other collie x grey Blaze that i had 3/8 collie 5/8 grey, wasnt as good as Bryn on rabbits, but liked the old teeth job. I think he liked to kill foxes more than rabbits lol,so bottom line is there all differnt temps.Got a 1x gsd x grey pup Buck this x are supposed to be like colliexs but with more fire in there belly, time will tell . 1 Quote Link to post

Very true about temperament, my two pure collies never ever picked there runs. From my experience some border collies certainly have a more committed style to hunting having a much higher drive to find a scent. Quote Link to post
