Bullying At School

Recommended Posts

Hate bully's and bullying with a vengeance.. Had a bit at a school I went to for a bit but nipped it in the bud, it's funny how most bully's, big mouths etc aren't all they make out to be.... Twice spent a night in the cells for sticking up for people being bullied both times I couldn't help myself I can't stand back and watch people being bullied.... Some muppet in Kentucky after the pub, chucking food in a couple of girls hair then offering a young coloured lad out.... Because he was black.... Unfortunately I was nicked trying to teach him some manners... The young lad turned out to be a 17 year old nod, just got down here for basic training... He brought me over a drink a few months later and thanked me, he was a nice lad....

I hope my kids have the confidence and know how to deal with any cowards who try to bully them... I would be gutterd if any of them tried to bully people themselves...

The best way to stop a bully is to go straight to the source .... The home ... My eldest daughter was getting bullied by another girl in her year .... Started off with name cling silly rumours etc but

Very good post socks, confidence is key, I don't mean that horrible cocky arrogant type of confidence, just being secure enough in yourself... For kids sport and decent socialising is so important I r

Yep they turn into big fat fuckers lol ...........

I was bullied at secondary school not extensively but enough to know what a f***ing misery it was day after day . Luckily enough ended up moving towns so different schools after the 1st year .I'm not going to elaborate as I'm not proud of it but I did sort the problem out .

I'm no tough guy and people who know me can vouch for that  but I'm a stubborn old cnut and I've always had principles ,treat others as you would want to be treated by them . Some people think because you are quiet you are weak (big mistake) . Going back a few years before we had the kids , used to go to the local "nightclub" late drinking hole . Gangs of lads from the the local towns and villages used to come over for A few beers and would always in a scrap . To let you know how bad this place was a 52 seater came over one Saturday night every single one of them looking to take the place over male and female fecking huge kick off . The women were Evan taking their stiletto's off and using them as weapons . I was not there that night thank fook but they never came back . Anyhow I was there one time when a minibus turned up and these cnuts were bowling people over like skittles . Me and a mate were walking a couple of girls home this night when I got a kick in the back which inturn bowled me over and like something off the telly I went down and over and landed on me feet but the prick ran off with his mates .The following week was my birthday (25th) I think and never had a drink all night as I was waiting for these same lads to turn up to which they didn't disappoint . At the end of the night waited for them outside , the main instigators three of them came my way one huge big black guy and two white lads one on either side of him . So without looking them in the eye I walked over two them and smacked the big black fella straight on the beak and down he went and the other two lads didn't know what to do and whilst I was sparring with them it gave big Jake enough time to come to his senses and get back up . With a hand with a few mates they sorted the other two out and I got a smack in the mouth which resulted in my front tooth getting pushed back at 45 degrees but I still managed to put a couple more to the side of his jaw . After it had all cooled down he shook my hand nd said "there's not many people who would start on a guy of six foot eight" to which I had reminded him of what is lot had started the previous week .

Another time I was walking a girl home and a car full of lads pulled up taking the piss I said something back a the driver got out gave me a hiding and I ended up rolling in I pile of dog shite .At the time I was wearing an expensive denim and sweade jacket which got ruined ,I was fecking livid. Same thing went back to the "club" the following week and there was this lad waiting for his mate's to which I tapped on his window and he wound it down two inches or so and I sais "remember me" and with that I had a flint that fitted in my hand a treat , he squealed like a pig as I managed to get through the gap I the window and straightin the eye . Never did see any of them ever again .

Pil some lad smacked my brother the other week, completely unprovoked. I saw the whole thing but i was across the other side of the road at the time, he got the shock of his life when i steamed in and gave him the good news!! So did his mate when he fancied a go.... i'm not big but i do like a good punch up! I came away with a lump on my forehead :toast: oh and rolling round fighting is not big and it's not clever when you've got a slipped disc. Couldn't move for two days after!

Lab was on Facebook calling me Rocky :whistling: Just got to watch my license....

I must have went to a good school as never seen any bullying maybe mild name calling ect but we all seemed to look after each other when I was at school, we would almost daily have gangs of other lads visit our school though and I suppose that's why we were like that. The only time I can remember any bullying was when a pal of mine slapped another quiet lad hard on the back of the head, my mate played football for scotland and had just been picked up by dundee utd, turned out the lad he slapped had a bit of a nasty dad and he stood outside with his son the next day waiting for my pal. He stood there and watched while he made his son smash his face in with a hammer then told him to do his knees, my mate never played again and is a mad junkie these days. Don't think the boy got slapped again at school.

Been an interesting read this, some pretty grim stories......i was never a bully or bullied but i was guilty of standing by and doing nothing......our school was one of them ultra competetive " whos the hardest " types where 4 or 5 of us all knocked about together thinking we was all that........i remember clear as anything my pals picking on these 2 kids Laurel and Hardy we called them, just a pair of weak kids who wouldnt or couldnt stand up for themself......it was horrible the stick they got but i never had the guts or character to stop it incase my dopey pals thought i wasnt tough.....Prick !!!!........I bumped into one of them many years later he had a good job, nice family etc we spoke about it and i apologised for not stopping it but he held no grudges he knew i wasnt a bully and understood i just didnt have what it took to go against my mates.....very classy fella actually.

I think bullying teaches us all things and it taught me to always try to help people who cant help themself in future.

I think your own upbringing can shape a lot of your views/ morals whatever on issues like bullying.... Mine was different for sure, with a dad who made money from his physical presence and violent tendencies, and a mum who could take no more so off we went on a little adventure lol.... But over time they both taught me values and I can honestly say I never bullied anyone weaker than me, I've seen a few shitty things as a kid and an adult ( I'm sure a lot on here have).... There was a girl in a refuge we were in for a bit who was so traumatised by the abuse from her father that she wouldn't leave her room for fear of seeing him.. After a fair while she was encouraged to come on an arranged day out to a big park, we all got on a mini bus ( me and my brother wee young kids) and pulled out of the drive, the first sight she got of a man she screamed and hit the deck, I mean laid in the gangway between the seats shaking like a leaf, she stayed there all the time we were out with a worker trying to coax her out.... I'm not sure how her life panned out, but it cemented my views on bullying...

i've a wee nephew, now he's only 10months but i'd hate to find out that when hes at the age for school and this was happening to the wee fella..... what could ye do??

What would you do if you found he was a bully ?

thats a very good question.... i'd like to think my disappointment in him would make him stop!!! but if not i dunno what i'd do... at the end of the day you can only tell them about the way they should be!!

mate it happened the same with me, I went to 1 school and was part of a group that was not bullys as such but let others know if they didn't fit it. then I got kid out of there and the table turned and I wasn't in the similar group but more the group that didn't fit in.

the was this lad, year older than me, and would start with all different name calling ect nothing major but would let you know you wasn't 1 of them so to speak.

anyway few years after we left school I bumped into him in a club in town (Liquid & envy) and he walked passed and put out his hand and said alrite Steve hows things, I grabbed his had and told him you really expect me to be a chatty to you after all the shite you gave me in school?? if you ever come near me again im going to fcuk you up"

fair enough he couldn't apologies enough and I properly couldn't have backed myself up but 10 to a penny if he did get the upper hand he'd have no doubt come away missing half an ear or a chunk bitten out of his nose. And that would have all been down to drink and that is why I really don't like drinking as it seems to lubricate the dick in side me but it was placed by inconsiderate fcukers that think they were better than you and the big I am.

I do not, bother with anyone apart from my uncle but apart from that I keep myself to myself, I have a few lads and lasses that if I need out or they need out then its only a phone call away. but as far as mates go im fcuked lol

iv read this topic closely and i know people say schools have it sorted now and things like that but is this because the mental strength of people is becoming weaker where we are such a nanny state now?

where i grew up we had to sort it ourselves, someone said something they got a whack. i know its not very civilized but if you had gone to parents or teachers things got alot worse and people used to move schools so everyone learnt quick.

All bullies are normally cowards or retards, clouted a few and been whacked by a few and i have always found that they have very little character and cant handle things when they dont go there own way. few of top of my head whilst at school; big lad always used to push everyone about and had never said boo to me til one day in a bad mood he decided to start so as soon as he finished his little bit i whacked the c**t as hard as i could and give him a black eye and even though he was still a little wanker he never said a thing to me again even though he could probably have kicked f**k out of me.

stood in the changing rooms after rugby and 2 of the lads from the second row and the lose head grabbed the winger and started kicking shit out of him for dropping the ball and the rest of the team just stood there and watched this lad screaming, i grabbed the prop and spun him round and banged him, he dropped and the second row lads just let him go. he deserved abit of abuse like banter for dropping it but these lads thought they had to teach him a lesson. the little winger got all 3 of them back 10 fold mind.

year 7, me and 3 lads get on bus. our school was 5 miles from home and it was our first day. older lad from a dif walks upto my best mate and starts giving it the big one because we went to the citys grammar school. then he pushed me mate so he sam hit him once and he got off bus. older lads had been getting shit of this lad daily for years.
