Young gun 96 1
Hi everyone, Applying for my own fac and shotgun certificate soon, all ready to send off but just had a couple of questions, can I share a cabinet to store guns which will hopefully get transferred to my license? and also I know I can't buy guns until 18, so if I wanted a .22 hornet which my dad doesn't have on his ticket, does he need to get a variation? Cheers for any help Quote Link to post
AR177 588
To buy any kind of rifle its got to be on a ticket, so if your planning on your dad buying a 22 hornet then transferring it to you, you will both need to have it on licence.. I would think your dad knows that if he already has a licence and experience.. but anyway yes he will need a variation The cabinet its best to speak to the FAO, sometimes its ok if the guns not on your ticket are locked away so you cannot get access, and vice versa the ones so your dad (or anyone else) cannot access your guns.
