low plains drifter 10,389
one injury that can occur from a lurcher that jumps a barbed wire fence and gets it's back quarters hung up,around the saddle area,I know of 2 bitches that got this injury the first one was stitched and it tightened her skin to the extent that she walked with a strange movement, the other one broke her stitches and recovered after being advised to treat her with antiseptic wound powder,a stitch in time saves 9 lol Quote Link to post

huntingladjohn 14
that looks crazy, hope it has a good recovery and as much barbed wire has its uses it doesnt need to be on every fence in the country i can see it can keep livestock in areas but the amount of damage it causes not just to the public but to the livestock its ment to protect whats the point, iv lost count the amount of times iv had my dogs tore up by the stuff.... i hate it with a vengeance Quote Link to post
