LaraCroft 863
Farmers market round here is superb - great meat, nice veg and a lovely atmosphere. People have got out of the habit of using them - easier to shove the frozen rubbish in a tesco ( other supermarkets are available) trolley and swipe the card, rather then take £20 out the machine and buy decent, local produce and learn to cook.
Paid 935
I hope people remember this though, and long may it continue.
Attack Fell Terrier 864
I buy my meat and my dogs meat from my local butcher good bunch of lads they are. They help the not so well off out in the run up to Christmas by having a weekly payment scheme so when it comes to the week the meat comes in, depending on how much the customer has put away over the weeks they can pick what they want to the value and can have a nice Christmas dinner. irishnut 297
i buy my meat as living horses, i can get an injured shetland pony for around £7. i always go for animals with bone breaks, not aids or tb etc. fu,ck eating that processed shit from supermarkets or even butchers, they don't give me money or support, so i return the favour. might dabble with cat soon, as i see quite a few free kittens on gumtree.

Lab 10,979
My local butcher tells me he is dong well out of this, and that made me smile :-) he was proper struggling after xmas. Yip same here. Was speaking to him the other day and he said the very same thing. Hopefully they take advantage of the situation to get more folk through the door and not use it as a money spinner. He is quite an expensive butcher dealing in Buffalo but its top quality produce. If i had plenty dosh i'd just shop there....
