Bunny Boiler 177
Symptoms mate? Is he just Lethargic or are there other symptoms? Poor coat, skinny, breathlessness, etc. Also, how old is the ferret? May be older age. Quote Link to post

Deej 22
best advice is try to get an emergency number for your vets and seek advice from them, could be a mulitude of things and they will more than likely advice you to take the little fella in. Quote Link to post
Bunny Boiler 177
Vets aren't always clued on ferrets however, many will offer different opinions to one another. Ferrets are odd animals. I find they are VERY hardy creatures, but once they do get an illness, they lose condition fast. People on here will certainly try to help buddy, we just need more information to go on to get you the best advice. Check your PM's bud. I've sent you one. Quote Link to post

donkey ears 23
Use a syringe to put some glucose down his throat. Quote Link to post
joe14 98
main thing is to keep him hydrated, syringe water to him, realy steady though giving him chance to swallow. Usually most vets have a number on the answer machine that you ring for out of hours. Edited February 27, 2013 by joe14 Quote Link to post
