We where back out today doing a railway banking at riding school , now if you leave it till the turn of the year its usually okay cover wise as the frosts have flattened it , and you always have the young fillys in the tight jodhpurs and kinky boots  . But its right across the water from a big airforce base and the barstools seemed to taking off every five minutes ,when we got there i couldn't believe the cover it was still so high .We netted up and dropped in the ferrets two minutes later the first rabbit was in the bag , then the young jills last years kits seemed to be coming out the burrows and look at what was causing all the racket , it seemed to be we are okay with you shooting over us but what the feck is that racket . We where setting ninety purse nets and doing ten to fifteen meter sections we struggled under the hawthorns so netted up where we could and tried to enter the ferrets in the back of the banking trying to catch the rabbits in the cleaner holes at the front ,By the end of the day even the older jills were a touch funny and i still think it was the noise it made hard work of hearing the mk1 locators but the worst dig was three foot and by close of play we had nineteen and when i picked up the nets there was a tight drawstring into a burrow and we had a bonus rabbit to get twenty .We are going back tommorrow but i think we have broke its back doing the worst of it and the sea wall should be easier
