this year i am putting some bobwhite's down instead of partridges and also using them as dog training aids , the reason being that they are far easier to mannage and the returns are by far better than redlegs or greys could ever be hoped for

i will have surplus birds if anyone is interested ;ie ,day olds and growers

according to to how i understand the wildlife and countryside act i dont think i will be in contravention of any laws because these birds can be recalled to there pens

anyway has anybody else used bobwhite quail or any of the other american quail species ? and after last years performance these are definately the way to go and are ideal for small do it yourself shoots

i will post some links if i can get my son to do it for me or just look on youtube and let me know what you think
