BenjiBoy 3
Had a S410 a few years ago great gun (must admit mine was .177) but its horses for courses. As guys have said fill to around 180 max for consistency. Only niggle with mine was bolt was not as smooth as say a H100 side lever. However don't let that put you off great gun.. Used Air Arms Field Diablo ... finger nail groupings (with a rest) 1 Quote Link to post
silentshot1 206
Great gun, my S410 TDR is as accurate as you could wish it to be with, AA field Diablo 5.52 or RWS superdomes, although I use the AA fields more. Hope you kept the HW80, you may find, as I and many others have found, the pull back to the feeling of shooting a quality springer becomes irresistible after a while the clinical efficiency a PCP. woodcote1 88
170 bar and refill once I've put 60 AA Fields through it. Mine is 22 and is as accurate as the 177 Air Ranger it replaced. Quote Link to post
Danny Fireblade 66
I've got a .22 S410K, got it new about 9 years ago, it's never missed a beat and still puts pellet on pellet. I use AA field, they seem to suit the barrel better but in the tins I have bought there have been quite a few with bent skirts. I've not handled many other new air rifles but I'm sure others will be ale to give more advice on different makes however I used to have a HW80 many moons ago and that was great, don't think you can go far wrong with anything with the weihrauch name on it. 2 Quote Link to post
analyticalman 4
I've tried cheaper pellets in my S410. No real difference in accuracy but AA Fields cock first time every time. Some - which have a skirt with an inner ridge just arent as smooth Quote Link to post
Tron 173
I have has a S410 classic carbine in .177 for the past 6/7 year's and it has not let me down yet..they are good smooth accurate gun's..i only ever fill mine to 170bar as that is where the sweet spot begin's if it's filled any higher all i will do is waste air from my bottle..i would advice on buying a new one and get it checked with a cronograph when you get it..when i first bought mine it was seriously underpowered at around 9tflb so i sent it back to Air Arm's and they sorted the problem straight away for me and got it putting around 11.5ftlb out.. Sorry Millet, but you cant have a AA410 Classic Carbine!! The AA Classic is a longer rifle than the Carbine!! The air cylinder on the Classic holds 216 CC of air......The AA 410 Carbine holds 156CC of air.....The Classic is a longer rifle by far. 1 Quote Link to post
