zini 1,939
Great rifle mate, very accurate, a adequate shot count, well balanced, nice weight, what more can you ask for? Nothing wrong at all with your choice of caliber to mate, .22 does the job just as good as any .177. You will just have to know your rifles trajectory a little better at the different ranges from your 2 points of zero. I believe a fill of 180 to 185 is better than a fill of 200 bar as it puts you in the sweet spot for consistency. Si. 2 Quote Link to post

Millet 4,497
I have has a S410 classic carbine in .177 for the past 6/7 year's and it has not let me down yet..they are good smooth accurate gun's..i only ever fill mine to 170bar as that is where the sweet spot begin's if it's filled any higher all i will do is waste air from my bottle..i would advice on buying a new one and get it checked with a cronograph when you get it..when i first bought mine it was seriously underpowered at around 9tflb so i sent it back to Air Arm's and they sorted the problem straight away for me and got it putting around 11.5ftlb out.. 1 Quote Link to post

fry 209
aa fields suited mine the best. things to look out for especially after years on a is the barrel is fairly flimsy by comparison! dont take a lot to push it out of line. usually releasing the screws on the figure of 8 barrel band will allow it to spring back true. and ifs not very hard to double load it ! engraver 44
If you have already made your mind up then its a done deal. But just my 2 pennys worth, a gun that many discount as they associate it with the turk guns is the FX2000 (its FX designed and swedish!). It was one of the first pcp airguns I owned and I shot that example for 12 years with just one filler o ring to replace, it accounted for loads and loads of quarry, but I did custom it up with venom airmasters and custom stock, but I sold it my error. But after spending about £???? on airguns in the last ten years Im back on a fx2000 inmo its just that but different and special at the side of the s410. Ill tell you why, Aluminium cylinder for one so itll never rust inside or out, Im getting shots in .22 and the mags are far easier to load than an AA mag, especially for lamping, plus if you get a walnut one they are beutifully crafted stocks with a large fore end and 5 panels of chequering. I still pick it up over my hw100tk, in fact the hw100 rarely gets a trigger pull. 1 Quote Link to post
