d smiths gaza killed a true white hare on the fens pre ban, the farmer said what ever you do don't kill my white hare , gaza was coming back with a hare in his mouth when up jumps the whit hare say no more

thats no mountain hare its an unusual colour but its definately a brown there was a pic on here before of a brown and white one with similar patches on it and you get albino brown hares as well

seen a hare some thing likes been posted near formby in the early 90s on the side of the road we thought it was tame rabbit as we got nearer it set off across the seed fields only freak i have seen nice though

I've seen a couple of hares like this around there Troter. At Formby your right next to Altcar estate and although pre-ban the estate had a massive hare population, for the Cup it always brought more in.

a mate of mine caught a true white hare on the withins on Altcar in the late 80s early 90s he had it mounted don't know if he still has it
