The one 8,493 Posted February 24, 2013 Report Share Posted February 24, 2013 After nearly a two hour drive we got to my furthest bit of permission i alway's dread this as its a fair hike and you never know what you will get as the phone call always ends theres loads of rabbits here . first burrow in front of the lady's house we got four and Dogger pulled one out the burrow next to us then we dug the sixth out the next burrow things where looking up by lunch time we had seventeen and ended the day with thirty no big digs at most three foot which is plenty , there all gutting and in the freezer for ferret food during the summer and no young in my lot .I got a slap off the lady for the black rabbit and then she says dont tell my daughter Quote Link to post

The one 8,493 Posted February 24, 2013 Author Report Share Posted February 24, 2013 We get thirty pence a rabbit from the game dealers and i wouldn't give them the rabbits for that the butchers give a bit more but cant handle the numbers and want only the best rabbits . so i fill the freezers and feed the ferrets all summer time on rabbit Quote Link to post
