TWOTWOTHREE 152
Hi Ask if the land is cleared for wmr before you do anything,if so do a one for one variation, basically you sell the 22lr then buy the wmr when the variation comes back, you may regret getting rid of the lr,I did and got it back 3 months later at more expense, why not get wmr added along side the 22lr as once you sell it you have to apply for it back,it's not too complicated just alot of paperwork, one for one is free, but you can be without a rifle for a while if it takes ages for the variation to get dealt with,I was advised just to add another cal and save for the new rifle, made sense and less complicated, why do you want the wmr and not the lr,? If you don't mind me asking Atb Quote Link to post
paulus 26
when i last changed my 22lr i got them to add a slot to purchase another whilst keeping the one i had untill the sale was completed they added a note saying existing 22lr to be sold (in red) as i couldnt be without a rifle between variations, just give your flo a call and talk it through with them Quote Link to post

TWOTWOTHREE 152
No worries hope you get sorted,is your land cf suited,? I chose hmr for short range fox as a step up from the 22lr a few year ago but went cf soon after, then i was complete and at one with a full cabbinet ended up keeping them all in the end,the lr,hmr and 223 next addition 22-250.i did think about the wmr a while back but never got round to it,I've shot one a few times and found it a nice little round and spot on with the crows n bunny, nice thump to it, Atb Quote Link to post
