the big chief 3,099
Hi lads I am geting a mk 1 superten to moz and could I fit it with a bull barel at a later stage Quote Link to post
Mawders 595
Can I just ask why you would want to do that? It would mean alot of faffing around, not even sure if you can buy I see no reason why not as the mk3 came as a shrouded barrel. I would assume it would be easier to buy a mk3 mate. the big chief 3,099
as i all ready have the mk 1 but like the look of the bull barel and i don't wont to buy another gun so why not just buy and fit a bull barel my self Quote Link to post
AirgunGuy 362
You can retro fit a bull barrel but probably too much messin about. I would think the reg would have to be set up differently as the barrel inside the shroud will probably be shorter than the barrel you have on there. You should join the BSA forum and contact a guy called RancidTom...he's the S10 guru on there ;+) Quote Link to post
Mawders 595
Yes I can vouch for RancidToms work I had my mk3 S10 fettled by him and it was a dream afterwards. Quote Link to post
the big chief 3,099
Cheers lads is the forum just bsa forum.? Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
Don't bother with a bull barrell, the silencing capability is far below that of a silencer on a standard barrel, they look good and that is about all you can say! Quote Link to post
Tron 173
If you fit a shorter barrel on a pc rifle then the power will drop (FACT) you will then have to modify the gun to get it back to previous power level. by using more air. To do so means LESS shots per cylinder fill. Quote Link to post

I know someone else who had work done by the manky mog only to find it leaked like a sieve after and that he would not honour his "warranty" so take care! Bowkett working on a Super 10 adds money however! 1 Quote Link to post

secretagentmole 1,701
Just get a silencer adaptor and buy a Twink! Quote Link to post
the big chief 3,099
Just get a silencer adaptor and buy a Twink! it has a silencer on but i thought it would be a lot quieter with a bull barell on it but if it means loss in power and all the messing around i will just leave it as it is just give it all a good service Quote Link to post

Well mole all I can say is I ACTUALLY had the work done on my S10 and stayed whilst the work was being done, bloody nice bloke and knows his stuff with S10's. it was perfect afterwards! Bowkett is the man there's no disputing that but he also charges alot of money for the work he performs. RancidTom's work was first class and all he wanted was a few quid! Always pays to shop around in this climate when your not riddled with wealth! Quote Link to post
philmcd831 4
How do I go about joining this bsa forum??? Quote Link to post

I've added a SAK to mine and its a huge improvement. As stated....best stick with your original narrel and add a decent mod. Quote Link to post
