This is my Patterdale pup at 15 weeks. I took these pics whilst I was on holiday last week, we had a break at one of these Haven camps (the one in Weymouth), and tbh I wouldnt bother with the gaff again.

Looking good. Did you do any fishing around weymouth? You missed a good oppurtunity if you didnt. Joe :D

I'm not realy a fisher man myself, but I took my lad on a Mackrel fishing trip, not exactly proper fishing I know but we realy enjoyed it, and crabbing in the dock aswell lol. There is loads of Mackrel down there, got a massive bag of it from that little trip.

My brother who also came down with his family is the one who likes his fishing, and went down on the Pier last thursday night to do abit but didn't catch much, and what he did catch wasnt worth sh!t like.

like the pup Pipey,i usually look at a terrier's eyes as they tell you much,

he has that something in his eyes looks a bugger, all the best with him,

Higgins.

P.s his eyes say,'i don't think much of this holiday lark, when we going to do a bit of 'grafting'.

Cheers people, thanks

Higgins, I am looking forward to future outings mate, getting out doing what this great breed is meant to do.

First day I took him on the beach, he seen the Seagulls and some big black Crows on the beach by the sea, he shown a very keen interest in them almost as if nothing else around mattered at all, so I let him off the lead and he chipped off at speed towards them, not realising that you cant run on water, he ran straight into the sea and crabbed it in style lol, he come out with a look on his face as if to say what the f**k was that :o you could of told me you cant run on this stuff!!! lol.

I cant wait to get him doing abit though, I've been advised to leave it until he's 6 or 7 months old, so I've got until around December before he gets involved in anything. I will be taking him out with my mates dogs though so he can watch them in action and can see how things are done, hopefully it'll encourage him more and he'll do the business.

Martin, how are ya mate  , had the weather that day on the last pic been better that picture would of been so much better, it's hard work getting him to stay still for a shot aswell, anything remotely decent I get of him is usualy down to luck.

Thanks, she is out of two Patterdales from the U.K. It would be hard to find a terrier with her "working line" in the U.S. but Patterdales in general are becoming more available in the U.S.

Oh I see, you get them imported from over here, I take it the working lines over here are better than what they are over in the US for you to import one from over here? is that right?

I love this breed I do, I didnt even know they existed until a few years back, when my mate showed up with his bitch. As soon as I seen her I thought yeah what a great little breed these are! when I seen her work, I just thought yeah thats it, gotta have one.

I had mine over the fields by us today and he wasn't at all interested in my eldest throwing the ball for him, he was more interested in chasing after the Gulls and Crows that were over there, he shows a keen interest in other dogs aswell, no matter how big or small. I find him pretty easy to control though, well so far I have anyway.

Whats your little bitch like with her obedience?
