Problem

Recommended Posts

I've been trying to zero my new gun with a silencer fitted and it's shooting wild, I've tried it without a silencer and its spot on so I took my silencer back to the gun shop and swapped it for a new one but I'm still having the same problem! It's shooting spot on without a silencer but soon as I fit the silencer it's shooting all over the place!

And suggestions?

The pellet will be clipping the mod on the way out. I had the same problem with a Hogan. If you have a look into the end of the mod you should see a faint line where the pellet will be clipping. I rolled up some fine sand paper, inserted it into the front end of the mod and rotated it until i'd taken a slither off. I only took about 1mm off bit it worked spot on. Worth a try ;+)

I had a similar problem too; it was caused by the thread inside the moderator being a loose fit on the end of the barrel thread and throwing it out of alignment. I cured
it by wrapping PTFE tape around the barrel threads, enough to take up the slack without being over tight to screw the moderator back on. This cured the problem
for me.
