That looks like a Standard collar and not a micro to me mate

the standard cap is like a c**k in a bucket mate and the cap that was on there before was a long cap, thats why i have come to the conclusion that is was a micro,i did ask in a previous post as i was not sure what i had and what people thought it was,i asked and the general census was it was a micro collar 15ft as it hold 2 batterys and the standard cap doesn't fit,

do you have a standard collar and if so what is the external size of the collar ir the internal of the cap please mate?

Same here, the general shape of the collar, I would say its a standard.

Am i right in thinking that the cap of a coaxal plug will fit a standard mk1 collar?

There are four types of Mk1 collars, all use different size caps.

Gets very confusing because so many people incorrectly describe the collars and there is also an increasing number of non Deben collars around that are different again.

You can estimate the size based on the batteries they take.

8ft micro ferret takes one 393 battery.

8ft standard ferret takes one 357 battery.

15ft ferret takes two 393 batteries.

15ft terrier takes two 357 batteries.
