the_stig 6,614 Posted March 5, 2013 Report Share Posted March 5, 2013 good stuff gnash -- i remember buying a job lot of boxing programmes and posters one programme had stan kennady on the bill there was a photo of him and lawless in it .. i read up on kennady i think but i may be wrong he was the first fighter lawless signed ... the poster was framed and hung in charlie magris pub for a while ... i gave a few posters to boxers chris richards and fidel smith == fought under the name slugger o`toole ... and this one ended up in magris pub .. lawless tried to sign richards but he went to brendon ingle .. gnasher16 30,025 Posted March 5, 2013 Report Share Posted March 5, 2013 Im not sure about Stan Kennedy mate i know Jimmy Tibbs was one of his first.......Jimmy inherrited a lot of Terrys ways in his approach to training fighters.....they fell out years ago but Jimmy knew what side his bread was buttered and never denied the influence Terry had on him as a top trainer.
