Jack.308 40 Posted February 21, 2013 Report Share Posted February 21, 2013 Looking for some sausage ideas something with abit of somthing about it ive tried alot of sausage, i was thinking somthing like a hot dog all in one, sort of a sausage with onion in a bit of tomato as a red sause and a bit of english mustard for the kick, anyone got any ideas? Mister Gain 1,764 Posted February 22, 2013 Report Share Posted February 22, 2013 Jack Sounds like you don't mind a little 'kick' in your sausage I have tried lots of different flavours over the past 8 years, but one I found very nice was a basic sausage mix with Dunnes River Jamaican Jerk Paste added, along with some roughly chopped semi-dried apple. When adding the ingredients, do so little by little and 'always' fry off a little piece before stuffing into casings in case you need to alter the flavour. I see you live in the West Midlands, so you can get the Jerk Paste in one of those afro-carribean shops, alternately, ASDA sell it. Most supermarkets sell the small foil pouches of semi-dried apple.
