They're not exactly waterproof, but they are very close-fitting and have adjustable wrist straps. They keep my hands warm, dry AND they have those finger-ends that fold back from your thumb and index finger-very handy for dog lead clips, triggers etc. If you want them totally waterproof, you can buy a can of spray from camping shops that should do the job.
