well, all to quickly its over again, with tomorrow probably being our last outing, been a decent one for us, with three young dogs having their first season proper, well pleased with how the lurchers preformed, both getting their fair share and the wee cocker's been a 100%, we have doubted him a few times but he's always proved us wrong, his tails like a locator, the faster its going the closer the bunnys are. we've also virtually stopped using purse nets, in favour of half a dozen 18ft stop nets, they cut out that running the hedge lark out and provide sport for the runners should they take the other direction, so its been a good learning season all round.

Been a hit and miss in different areas , some places that usually hold good numbers struggling to get a few and getting a bagfull off the quieter bits

Nice little crew you have there , and got me thinking whippet x cocker , mmm any thought or any one seen in the flesh,racey ???? good nose bidable retrieve, without having to put unruly terrier blood in ,??????? Could it be the ideal ferreting hound for small land and permissions , plus you could take it beating : )

A good season for me, but i don't now do big numbers, but usually have four at least on my mooches.

The whippet is coming on well, marking and catching.

It was good meeting up with Cumbrianratcher, had a couple of days out using different sizes of quicksets. really enjoyed it.

Have pre booked a pup which will keep me busy.

its been my first season, no big bags. all 2s 3s and 4s. had good craic though. definitely learned alot

ups and downs for me, no big bags 3 was my biggest , ill have another 2-3 outings then pack up untill next season, have learnt alot throughout the season with different things, and will defo be knocking on more doors for perm before next season, the ratting will pick up soon, untill october .......................... atb foxtails

had a horrible season dont get me wrong had afew days out and caught 2s and 3s biggest bag was 7 but not been going out as much as id have liked just not enough rabbits to be getting into,

my season hasnt been to bad iv not been out half as much as id like to have been due to moving house and work. my biggest bag so far was 13 hoping to beat that on sunday though might have one more trip after sunday then call it a day for this season atb

Failed miserably to find anywhere to go ferreting with my new pup! best hope i find somewhere over the summer before the next season! Seen it on here before but the hardest hunt really is finding permission! And where i live theres bob all lol

Mixed season, my usual good spots have not produced their usual numbers. But the smaller paddocks have done well, 3x 12. Not great numbers but enough for me.

Last weekend this weekend, last week ran into 4 lots of littlens !
