still smoke them.

i can remember my school days :laugh: 10 no6 34p and a bag of chips for dinner 16p, all the shops sold fags to anybody and even in 1`s, i even remember being sent over the coop to fectch 60 no10 for my old man everyday i use to get change out of a quid when i was even younger :laugh: i can also remember him saying when i first passed my test that petrol would soon be a pound a gallon :laugh:

:laugh: chips 15p a bag when I was at school. Passed my test, petrol was 36p a litre. To be fair though, a £1 note was like a tenner now lol. Can mind playing jingles with 5 pences. That's where you threw it at a wall, closes to the wall won. Made a small fortune at that :laugh:

shove penny :laugh: i was the school champion :thumbs: when i was very small i use to go over the coop with 2 old pennys and come back with 2 bags of penny mix`s :laugh:

I'd have bet you :laugh: we also played it on the dinner tables, 2 shots slide it to the edge of table till its hanging over enough to get your finger under and flip it up. If you caught it you kept it lol.

Right Kay, can't blame them. Company's get the short end all the time. Guys getting maternity leave, what's that all about??? Aye a week fine but I heard they can get upto 2 months!!!

i fully understand why companys do use agencys to fill jobs , its such a ball ache once you have employeed someone to get shut of them because all they do is threaten them with a tribunal , its the small businesses i feel for

Sorry to say but if I had a small business with employees, I wouldn't employ any young lassies incase they decided to have a family. On second thoughts........ Maybe I would :laugh:

thats why they employee agencys , to be fair when i left school you could get jobs very easily , walk out of one on friday & walk into one on monday morning , i did cash in hand jobs , 2 or 3 days here & there , its what people did then

I had 2 c sections the first thing i did when i came home after 14 days in hospital was wash up :laugh: hoover & entertain my then mother in law who was savage with her lazy son because he said he had done the housework so she didnt have to go over to do it :laugh:

Aye Johnny, I know what your saying but if you have say a small plumbing business with 1 employee, he's off for 2 months, your paying his wages..... Hard going paying someone to stand in. Imagine if his other halfs your secretary lol.

14 days in hospital, you don't get that for a stroke these days :laugh: they don't make woman like they used to Kay :D

Aye Johnny, I know what your saying but if you have say a small plumbing business with 1 employee, he's off for 2 months, your paying his wages..... Hard going paying someone to stand in. Imagine if his other halfs your secretary lol.

14 days in hospital, you don't get that for a stroke these days :laugh: they don't make woman like they used to Kay :D

joking apart in the 80's there were matrons on the wards & you jumped to there tune , i wasnt going anywhere untill matron was happy i was breast feeding properly :laugh: .. .. totally different 7 years later when i had my second son . in & out in 5 days after a c section , but i had 6 months worth of problems after because the wound wouldnt heal
