Saluki Whippet..

here is my saluki whippet i bred myself, i have both parents and he is coming up 2 years old, he wasnt born deaf, but over the first few weeks we think he turned deaf and started to notice it when he was about 8/9 weeks old. i tried to pet home him but nobody wanted him, what a mistake, wouldnt do without him, great dog thanks.

He's probably not medically deaf. Just the saluki in him. Lol.

Looks to have a good build about it , i,v come accross a few deaf dogs and they are usully mostly white, atb, buster.

nice dog [BANNED TEXT], thought my big dog was deaf when i first got him would call his name and he would blank you but after a few weeks he come round and is now very obidient. atb

Nice dog. My 9 month old saluki x is deaf sometimes, funny though how he can hear the food bowel

hi all thanks for the positive comments! he is stone deaf ( medically deaf ) wasnt born deaf but during labor he turned deaf according to the vet, we did think he was dead when he was born.. but yes i work him more then any of my other dogs, he is actually older then i thought ive got his brother here too out of a different litter, but bracken is an excellent all round dog and i am not embaressed to show him to anybody in the field, thanks all
